About Critter Control

Kevin Clark was a Detroit area chimney technician in the 1980s, but he kept getting calls to remove animals. Apparently, he was the closest thing to an animal control company that customers could find. Sensing a hole in the market, and therefore a business opportunity, Kevin started “Clark’s Critter Control.”

Over time, this business expanded from Detroit to become the nation’s biggest animal control company. With franchises across the country, Critter Control (we’ve since dropped the “Clark’s” at the beginning) has proudly helped people with a wide variety of animal-related concerns.

Critter Control of the Triangle is a thriving local franchise of this amazing American success story. We benefit from their name, training and philosophy as we serve all of Wake, Durham, Orange and Chatham counties and their pest needs.

Another thing we are proud of as part of the Critter Control family is the focus on environmentally friendly methods. Since 2009, Critter Control has pioneered an industry trend towards safer, greener alternatives to the common chemicals used in pest control. Critter Control was among the first companies in the U.S. to offer Integrated Pest Management (IPM), which incorporates ecologically responsible pest management services, products and methods. That way we can help to control general insect pests in an earth-friendly manner.
